Hello, World!

 Hello all!

My name is Shelby, I'm an aspiring children's librarian working for my local public library. This is my last semester of graduate school, which means I will be finally finished with grad school (and homework!) this December. 

A few quick facts about me: 

• I live with my fiance and two cats.
• I am an avid crafter, and have too many hobbies for one person.
• I hula hoop dance in my spare time! (again, too many hobbies)
• Horror is my main genre of choice.
• My favorite animals are great white sharks and bats (hence the blog name!)

This blog will be a collection of book reviews, musings on the literary world, and pictures of my cats. Hey, you're not a true librarian if you don't share at least ONE picture of a cat. Because my focus is in youth services, the majority of books reviewed and shared will be for, you guessed it, the youth! So grab a cup of your favorite beverage (mine will be something pumpkin-flavored, guaranteed), cozy up, and join me on this road trip of random books. I'm glad you're here!
